Hi, I'm an Education Research Developer at The Education Program in Anatomy at McMaster University.
I'm interested in mobile app and web development, specifically in the fields of virtual reality, stereoscopy, education and educational research.

Virtual Reality Bell Ringer (aka VRBR) uses Google’s Cardboard VR headset to deliver stereoscopic 3D bell ringer practise questions to undergraduate Anatomy & Physiology students.
It is available on Android and iOS.
The anatomical dissection images are originally from A Stereoscopic Atlas of Human Anatomy by David L. Bassett, MD. These stereo images (originally published in 1952) were digitized by Massachusetts General Hospital and made available for educational purposes under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. As such, this app is also available under the same license.

The dissection images were modified to include 3D pins, which guide attention to specific aspects of the anatomy.
MacAnatomy is the online portal to the Education Program in Anatomy at McMaster University.
From June 2016 - Sept 2017, I completely redesigned MacAnatomy from the ground up, moving it from Joomla to Wordpress. I also created several custom WordPress plugins to manage the extensive specimen library the anatomy lab curates.
The new site went live in September 2017.
Project ARTEMIS is an undergraduate engineering Capstone project: building an autonomous foam projectile firing turret that can hit a moving target.
The turret will identify the target and retrieves its x,y,z coordinates. This will be fed into a trajectory prediction algorithm that will predict where the target will be at some point in the future, allowing it to be intercepted by a foam projectile.
This project will be a collaboration between Software and Mechatronics Engineering students at McMaster Univeristy. Complete April 2019.
